* 1.5oz Fresh Lemon
* .75oz Honey Simple Syrup**

Combine Monday Mezcal, lemon, and honey syrup to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and strain into your favorite glass. Garnish with honey comb and charred lemon wheel.
**To make honey syrup, combine equal parts honey and water to a small saucepan and heat until the honey has completely dissolved. Let cool before use.

Tried it with fresh squeezed orange and lime juice with a splash of agave, it was nice but lacked something. Had it with fresh lime and a little agave, gave it a pretty comparable margarita taste. The jalapeño type kick at the end is nice, smokiness is a little milder than mezcal but of course, this is NA so you have to appropriately compare.

The Mescal Mix recipe was a surprise experience, in that I was not ready for the different taste from a regular margarita drink. The mix was good and had a hot bite to it. The salted rim of the glass added more flavor to the drink. It took a few sips to get use to the taste. There is room for improving the drink by using different portions the mix, which it will make the experience challenging. Overall rating at this time would be a 7,but has room to be bettered.

United StatesHits the spot when I want a nice cocktail!
I'm taking a break from drinking alcohol for 3 months but I do love having a beer or cocktail in the evening. I've been trying a few different options (Aplos Calme, Three Spirits Nightcap). My favorites have been the Whisky and Mezcal from Monday. I've also ordered the Gin in the past but it just didn't have the intensity of flavor I like in my gin and tonics. Both the Whisky and Mezcal have nice, comparable flavors to the real deal and don't add sweetness to my cocktails like some other alternatives. There is a bit of a "peppery" bite that helps give it that warm, sharp alcohol flavor that you'd find in real booze. I have enjoyed the Whisky straight but a lot of the time I make cocktails from recipes provided by Monday or make mocktails inspired by classic cocktails. They mix well with lots of mixers, they're versatile -- I can have a nice margarita or a mule and feel satisfied! I think the biggest Stamp of Approval I can provide is that I will continue buying from Monday after my little drinking-hiatus -- most likely during the week or help continue decreasing my alcohol consumption.
